just curious, why would you make such a drastic decision to part it out? not being sarcastic but did somebody tell you that it wasnt worth it or what? im not givin ya a sob story or anything but i have put hardly any miles on my car since about '03 and not by choice [&o]. the stock aod decided it had enough and the od let go, then after i got that fixed i put on a few miles drivin it everywhere i could since i had been out of the saddle for so long and the motor spun a bearing. being a student at the time and also out of state, that took about an entire year for me to get the money for it and then i had to find the time. i had some fun with that for less less than 2500mi and then the rebuilt aod let go again. from the first tranny blowing to the second i have put on less than 7k on it and its killing me (yes thats a tear) so hang in there and fix that beast!

Never mind I found you. Just north of Dallas. I was going to say I will buy the car from you as it sits. My wife would love a convertible... What do you want for it?

Unless the other side of the car is totally trashed it would be a shame to kill it over a tranny. That would be like shooting you because you broke a leg and even though they shoot horses over a broke leg that pony can recover. If the parts are worth selling than the car is in good enough shape to sell whole and save a good mustang.
