engine quits when I turn off my a/c
IAC MOTOR look into it i dont have a wire diagram infront of me but thats what controls that function
Whats happening is when u turn on ur A/C the iacrecieves a command of more load and the rpms increase. and viseversa when u take it off the rpm signal goes back to normal most probably the iac motor is getting stuck try taking it out and cleaning it with CARBURATOR cleaner should be located around the throttle body or air cleaner housing

My car is at operating temperature and I am driving down the road at 45 mph and I turn my ac off and my motor shuts off. It started several minutes later but I smelled alot of fuel. I tried the ac switch a few more times when I got home and it did not totally kill the motor but it almost shut down every time I turn the ac off. What do you all think could be the problem?

Did you check your injectors if they are leaking because I had a problem close to the one you have and the a/c would actually help keep it running because the RPM goes up a little when its on.
