my cousin gave me the 5.8 out of his Bronco, if the block turns out to be bad what parts can i salvage to save a few bucks on a future 393 buildup

i was thinkin timing cover, some bolts,and maybe accesory brackets but what else??

ya i'm gonna ebay alot of the stuff, but i mean any miscellanous parts that i could use...those little parts that most peopleforget toput into their bugetswhen they start to build an engine

oil pan, oil pickup tube, flywheel/flexplate if ya got it, distributor if ya got it.

im sure your going to get a better intake and flashy valve covers

keep the balancer bolt, the water pump bolts and the bellhousing dowels, and head dowels, and mabye the cam retaining plate, and the cam bolt

yeah good call, hell i'd keep ALL the bolts, you never know when your gonna need one
