Default timing please

ok well i have the trick flow top end kit as well as the supporting mods, JW what my timing sould be set at. also there is the grey spout plug that has to be taken out when setting timing to right?

yes the plug i believe is an electricle circuit for a vaccume thing. it should be by your distributor just hanging around. i have my timing at 13*, thats a safe bet. 13* IS WITH THE GREY PLUG OUT!!

hmm my plug is on my passenside by the airbox (where it was). also this is jsut till it gets a dyno tune

On fox bodies it is right by the TFI on the distributor, on 94/95s it is where you said.

I dont know how your tuner does things, but the guys who tuned my car wanted everything to stock so my fuel pressure is 39-40psi and timing 10*....he deos all timing and fuel through the computer/chip.

+1 theres no since in changing from stock setting because your tuner will program the computer to set timing for certain rpm ranges according to data received from dyno. the computer will only change timing at certain rpm ranges and idle is not one of them. thus stock is ideal for idle. then when the throttle positioning sensor opens up and rpms increase the computer will adjust spark advance accordingly with the tuned chip.
