Default baffle out of valve covers

i've heard of people doing this to clear roller rockers, is this ok to do or will it suck oil into the throttle body. I need some valve covers to go on twisted wedges and clear 1.6 roller rockers.

i ran my valve covers like that with use of some 1.7 roller rockers, i noticed that my intake was sucking up oil from the filler neck. then i did a cam swap, and a got 1.6 RR with ford racing vavle covers and had no reason to run the covers without a baffle.

If you don't clear the rockers with the baffle in place, then remove the original baffle and install one so that it sits higher in the VC.

I had to massage mine to get clearance with a baffle.

Paying attention to details like this will make your car much more enjoyable to drive...

not a good idea then, which valve covers do you guys reccomend, i'm trying to stay away from getting taller valve covers and then have to get a spacer and then a cowl hood.
