Default C-Clip Elimnators

I was wondering if any body has had trouble useing them on the street(leaking from the axle seals)? I have heard stories about this happening and then i have heard people saying that they never had problem with them. Have any of you had this problem. If so how did you fix it besides replacing the seal?

a new axle or try emery cloth..there might be a groove in it...those the have leaks either damage the seal and or have a grovve on the axle

I'v only seen a few streetable drag cars out on the road with them. Never heard of anyone complaining of them leakin though. Probably just poor installation.

I say do it anywho.

I've seen guys shoot the axle out the side of the car, brake, wheel, all of it 9rear drums mind you) bounce off the cement wall. Luckily the other lane was closed due to somone puking their tranny, otherwise it would have hit the other car and done some serious damage....all because of a C clip failure.

It's one of the major upgrades off roaders do and dragsters do.

Install it correctly and I doubt you'll have any problems.
