its just getting hard to find unmolested ones, cause they're all old enough where they fell into the price rang of teenagers who all beat the snot outta them and did all kinda of mods. never fear though, there are SO many out there since they made the foxes for so long, it'll be a long time before the start drying up.

I have also noticed the prices going up. Last year, I looked at maybe 25 fox mustangs for several months (priced b/w $2500 & $7500)before paying $5k for an unmolested 89 hatchback with 73,000 m on the clock. The one I bought was the only one completely stock with low miles.

I bought my 93 Florida Highway Patrol stang last year for $7,500 with only just over 78,000 miles on it. Interior is spotless and the paint is original but in pretty good shape. It is 1 of 3 Unmarked Calypso Green SSP's for the FHP in 1993.

hey guys.... I asked this before when I bought my 88 that has 48000 original miles and was 100% stock. Should i modify it?I didnt get many that said NO. and now wondering if I made am mistake.i haveput on CAI, Headers, H pipe and cat-back but have the originals in a box...I entend on keeping this forever but if someone offered me a chunk of change (Barrett Jackson) down the road (20 years) i cannot say for sure I wouldnt take it... That said should I keep modifying this baby or keep it where it is? SHould I put stock back on? I only drive it on the weekends if it is nice so it might see 1000 miles a year... had it 2 months and only put 160 miles.... (mostly on jack stands though), thoughts?

They are not rare enough to NOT modify them BUT how to do you think cars get onto barret jackson? Its your choice.... as as long as you can put it back to stock. Go for it.

Around here everybody seems to think their Fox body is worth a ton of money.
Thats probably the reason the same cars are in the want ads since last summer.
A few are in the $8-11k range.
