RE: Foxbody Prices on the Rise?
I got lucky and payed 600$ for my 86. She runs great only problem is the clutch is shot, and title it a salvage/rebuild. I found out it was a repo/auction car and ohio gives salvage/rebuild titles for umm wierd. But thats the storiy i got if i had the extra 20$ for carfax i would do it. ( im not that poor but moveing in 5 days need every dime i have and old-lady will have a ****-fit lol.) Im a mechanic ive looked it over top to bottom no wierd welds frames strait as a arrow. Either the storie is true or i was thinking it may have been a flood vehicle. There is no i mean no signs of it ever being in a wreck. So i think i made out good. Also it says 68k on the dash. The car realy does'nt look like its seen 168k miles. So i wanna belive that to be true.

I paid 5,000 for the hatchback, 1992 LX with 86,000 original miles, perfect paint and interior ran smooth with no problems at all. The car acted just as if it had rolled out of the factory.

Yea, thats a one time deal right there. You dont see 5.0's sell for that cheap often. Only time is if the person is old OR they just think its an old car and not worth much.
