Default Question about springs??

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any help you can give me. I have a 1991 LX 5.0. I am lowering the car on Friday, but I'm not sure if I should get regular or progressive springs. I was told that regular are better if you can handle the bumps. Any advise?

My LX is all stock except for exhaust. I just got it. It has 55K original miles on the engine.

Default RE: Question about springs??

Depends on how rough you want the ride to be. If youre not super serious about bangin corners or road racing a progressive spring will be better, not to mention itll be A LOT more street friendly. I put some set rate springs on my DD probe, and since I did that I can literally feel EVERY crack in the road. I have to swerve out of the way for potholes and such.
