RE: h.c.i-vs-blower
hey dbeck dont get me wrong but the kit was tested on a 306 and those numbers are to the crank cause they did the testing on an engine dyno. i dont no this for a fact but im 100 percent sure of it because a lot of built 302 with hci dont even dyno at 300hp and my friend has a 347 with this kit and he only dynoed at 330 to the wheels. everyone seems to get that confused all the time, when manufactures test products out they do all there testing on a engine dyno to make it easier to swap parts plus the higher the horsepwer number is the better so there obviously not goin to give out the numbers from the wheels so they do it at the crank which turns out to always be alot more. any ways to answer ur questions 5.0mustang i wood say go with a supercharger. there was an article in the muscle mustangs and fast fords mag with a guy that had a street driven mustang with a supercharger that runs 10's and the best part about it is that the motor is BONE STOCK! except for the fuel system. the only other mods to the car was a drag suspesion, fat tires in the back, no rear seet, and no power steering or ac or smog pump thats sick.

i seen that ..it was white..but i think that is bull crap..if it is that easy to run 10 than every mustang owener on here would be running tens..i have found that just cause some one says it is stock..does not mean it is..people lie...but it could be true...as for the trick flow kits..i figured it was flywheel hp...but that a pretty good hp increase over stock being 225 compared to the clam of 350 crank hp..

I wouldn't say that that was a load of crap. There are guys out there with very little engine work that can run 12's. It's all in how you drive it, suspension, weight, etc.
Also, my vote would be for h/c/i and a hit of nitrous. Kill two birds with one stone.

without detonation, the right amount of fuel and timing, a supercharger, gears and good tires can go a very long way. i mean those guys at mm& ff and 5.0 stick blowers heads and cams, and once a turbo kits on stock bottom-end 5.0 mustangs with over 100k miles on them. get you a 6 psi supercharger for 1600$ so you dont even have to mess with the fuel pump, get a fuel pressure regulator, an intake manifold and a cam all for under 2500$ then save for some good heads. then when you buy the heads you can upgrade the fuel pump and bump the psi to 8 on the charger with the smaller pulley. and bang thats one bad-*** mustang. and on a budget too. oh yeah before the heads and extra psi you should be making around 350 h.p. to the fly wheel
