MAC cai filter cleaning???

can anyone tell me how often i'm supposed to clean the filter on my mac cai and also how to do it properly??? thanks

Clean it using a K&N recharge kit. It should consist of a bottle of cleaning solution and a can of aerosol spray which is the filter oil. I recharged mine every other week, mostly because I live on dirt roads. I'd reccomend recharging it every oil change if the air isclean where you live.
