Nothing like a little DRAMA, But if your gonna invest all that money in your motor and trans to handle all that HP, I would put anything from a junk yard in it. Just my 2 cents

yea i kinda agree in a way... the call out was fine but you second statement was pushed a lil to fair... its fine u called him out and we all see that he kinda doesnt know what his talking about... but dont slam on him... lil to degrading for just being a lil mustang ignorate.... just my .02

as for a junk yard radiator... doesnt seem like a good do... how are u doin to test it ot make sure it works... u know looks can be deseving... secondly ull learn not to cut corners while working with high hp engine... or ne engines for that matter

as as for the whole 5-600 hp on an engine like that... i dont think so... unless u have a very aggressive tune... which probably would require racing fuel.... u wont get much over 450rwhp.... which is just short of hte blocks limit... i used to think like you a while bak... but ive had my car for about 2 years now and im learned a lot since then... you lil setup is missing quite a bit... and some of hte stuff u have u dont really need so i suggest slowing down a lot and learn as u go... start with bolt ons then mayb a h/c/i then see were your at

Junkyard rads...worst idea of all time, you don't SC a car then take chances with the cooling system..hell forget SC you simply don't take chances with used cooling system parts.

That pretty much sums it up, he has helped me more times then I could count. And I really doubt there is an aluminum radiator in a Junk yard that is going to hold up to 500, unless someone put and aftermarket one in their car. And just because it is aluminum doesn't mean it is better then copper. They use aluminum because itcan be streached thinner and thus can get rid of the heat better then if it was thicker. But copper is much better at actually getting rid of the heat when they are the same thickness, and sometimes even thinner. So it can go either way when looking at a stock radiator. The SN-95's also liked to run hotter then 5.0's so it might work for you. But if I have a motor with anywhere near 500RWHP then I am not going to skimp on the cooling system. Read this link and it will help.
