can i put ho style cam in a non ho block and if so who do i use

Yes, it's a different firing order. If you're talking about roller vs. non roller, that's a little more involved. You need retrofit lifters or a reduced base circle cam.

If the non H.O block is '85 or later, you shouldn't have a problem........
