Default Glasspacks, no cats.

Headers, no cats, glasspacks, would it sound good? How much louder would it be than my current setup with flowmasters? I'm not really sure what series but I'm thinkin 40's cuz it's pretty loud.

glasspacks suck. they dont flow worth a damn. just put some nice headers and an off-road h and be good to go. glasspacks sound like absolute dog **** IMO.

glass packs no cats ya sounded good if u like loud *** pipes but i like the deep sounds that stangs have now but that deep sound cost ya more. once glasspacks get broke in tho they get louder but im sure more than likely if dont get money to get flowmaters or cat back on my 85 ill jus go with glasspacks for now also cause stock exhaust jus sucks *** car is to damn quite lol

Glasspacksare greatmufflers, IMO I say they sound great and they flow just as good as everything else just the only problem with them is that they dont last as long as a regular muffler because the fiberglass packing burns/rots out over time. yes they are a lil redneckish but hell for 30 bucks a piece for a pretty good sound you cant beat it. My only words of advice is that the regular Cherry bomb glasspack will not fit where your muffler goes, you need to get one from summitt or special order one from cherry bomb to the correct length!

there is a muffler flow test results floating around here in the last couple of days... they DO NOT flow well.. something like 180cfm or something where flows were up around 250cfm... just FYI.

I had em and I hated them, I hated the racking off they did when you let off. Also they were way to loud for me.
