Default another vert subframe thread

ok guys, my girl ordered these subframes for my birthday. does anyone have any idea of the install procedure for these on a vert? i've heard things about grinding rivets down... anyone know anything about this? what do they support? they must be there for something.....

they are welded to the frame and I imagine the seat supports are bolted in place...there should be no rivets or bolts IMO in regards to subframe connectors or their installation.

They bolt underneath the seats and are "welded" in place.

They tie the front frame the engine is mounted to to the
back toque boxes and basically like adding to "frame rails" to
a uni-body chasis. Keep body from flexing, which the verts are
worse for since they have no roof.

You will notice the car feels better, handles better
and probably wont squeek and rattle as much.

carefull, make sure it is supported by tires when on lift
not on the frame

Ran the FMS tubular SFC on my wifes 04GT day 1 of ownership...the was a difference to be felt over the ruff stuff, you could hear and feel the difference.
