I'm concidering buying a '95 gt that has had some upgrades. it has elderbrock performer heads, and intake, headers, and a big cam. the owner said that he couldnt get the computer to work with this setup and switched out to a '93 computer and that it works great now. i'm new to this vintage car and really don't know anything about computers and efi. does what he say make real sence?

 

yeah. then sn95 computer can be a hair finiky with a large cam...bad idle and surging are the side effects. i have heard that you idle the car for about 5 min to warm up every time you drive it the computer may get friendlier to deal with. the fox body comp doesnt give as many fits. some people do switch out the computers.
