Well i think ive decided and i'm going to go with the Vortech S-trim set up with 8-10 lbs of boost, i'm guessing that is the v2...

whats the difference between the v1 and v2? i'd like the louder version, why? i dont know... haha. how quiet is the SQ?

aside from the s/c, it comes with a walbro 255 fuel pump so i'll be all set with that, i will be purchasing an aftermarket kirban fuel pressure regulator.


who has installed a vortech on a 5.0? so far it seems self explanatory with a little more concentration having to be put onto the tapping into the oil pan. whats any other tricky parts that i will run into??? any special tools that will make the job easier? load me up with some details guys, i appreciate it.

ALSO, how hard is it to set up the electronics that come with it?

V-1 Should be the loud series. I would look on ebay to find one if you don't mind used. Like I said I picked mine up for 1475 shipped. Then just bought some 42# injectors for it the other day for 270 shipped. There aren't any electronics, just the FMU. You should really go have it tuned at a dyno tuner rather than use that FMU anyway. That's what I plan on doing when I get allthe stuff.

for the people with the strim v1 supercharger, can you post up what you have done to your car and how much power it is making with those mods? thanks
