I learned something new today and thought I would share. Went to the local Ford Dealer, where My friend is a parts mgr. I was looking for FMS Upper control arms and Bullitt springs. While he is nice enough to give me cost anyway, he saved me a ton of $$$. All Ford dealers have a LOCATE button on their computers. Ford dealers sometimes order and stock parts, for some reason they had trouble selling. Instead of letting them sit on the shelf, they post them on this site and offer them anywhere from 10%-50% BELOW their cost! I got the front bullitt springs for $40 and the rears for $20. I did have to pay for UPS ground shipping, but I saved at least $110 over what they go for "cheap" on the internet.

The parts mgr says he always checks this site for special order type items, so he can still make some good margins and still be able to sell specialty parts (like my springs) below cost. So everyone wins, dealer makes some money, customer gets parts below dealers normal cost.

Just ask the parts mgr to see if he can locate a dealer selling the part below cost, This was a hell of a deal, and thought it was something that could help everyone out.

It is a dealer only website, and internal system with Ford. You will have to go to your local dealer and have them look for the part you need.

Can you ask your friend how much he can get some FRPP upper control arms for and PM me? ...More specifically, I need the rubber bushings out of them, P/N E4SZ-5A

I paid $53.00 for the upper arms, he had those in stock. For just the bushings I don't know.

Dumb question but what is frpp and fms control arms. Also that website is called oeconnection.com and ya its a dealer only thing

FRPP= Ford Racing Performance Parts
FMS=Ford Motor Sport

Both are the same thing. I believe the most current name is FRPP-use to be FMS.

Kindal like SVO is now SVT. Just a another name change from ford.
