Im just about ready to take her out after the new mods, listed in sig. All i got left to do is change the fuel filter really quick, swap out the trans fluid and rearend fluid. I also gotta space out my harmonic balancer a bit so my crank pulley lines up, then she should be road worthy. Any last things i should look for, i think i got most of it covered but shoot out any ideas tips or pointers you got, i'm open for suggestions. Thanks fellas.

EDIT: Left out an important detail, its the first time its gonna be taken out since the HCI

 

just for the heck of it, change the oil, then do what Pro said, drive it like you stold it, lol it sounds like she is good to go. I just did all my fluid on last Friday. have fun bro.

You didnt miss anything, i didnt put it in there. I forgot an important detail in the first post, but i fixed it.

depending on how much coolant/dust/debris got in there during the HCI swap you might want to change your oil again after it runs for a few.

 

Bad info, no offense. You need to take it easy for the first few hours to properly break in the valvetrain. Even then I wouldn't rag on it before a tune, there's a good chance that your a/f ratio is all sorts of jacked up, and if you lean out in the upper rpm's you're asking for trouble. Finally, change the oil and filter after 30min of running, to get all of the crap that was on the cam out of the oiling system. Have fun! I was supposed to drive mine for the first time this weekend, came home to an inch of snow [>:]

one small word of warning i drove mine last week im way past the fuel system on my ride i made no power and valves banged over 3500 no fuel so I hope you plan on updating you pump seems i ran out of pressure at high rpm so if those valves are tinging dont keep revving.Kabbom.

 

TTgreen95 have u driven ur car yet witthosmods listed? if so how was the idle wit that monster of a cam for the 5.0. and what kinda power u hope to be makin wit that?
