well i get the porting for free so i dunno how much you would have to pay? But you could always buy the Trick Slow and get them ported or the RPM II and get them ported and get some more out of either. IIf you are looking to save im sure you can get your GT-40 Intake ported and get a little out of it, and save money for diff mods? Do you have 5spd or Auto? I can get a good deal on a Art Carr Converter and it would be a good mod for money if you have stock converter?

I have a 5-speed. I guess then I am either going to get the trick flow heat intake, edlebrock rpm 2, or the new bbk intake manifold. Pros and cons on these 2 intake manifolds. thanks

dont get the gt40, biggest waste of money ive ever seen. heard nothing but good things about the systemax and the rpm 2, both work very well with supercharged motors

Yea thats what i heard but im going to get an explorer motor so i can take the gt-40 heads off it and probably get them P&P depending on how much its going to cost, if its a lot i will either run them stock or just buy afr 185's. But since im going to get the whole motor i was thinking take off the intake manifold and get it ported but instead now im probably going to get the trick flow heat or the new BBK one. I am very curious about the new bbk one, i think im going to have to look into it

I just went onto 5.0 magazine to check out their article on the bbk manifold. They said it makes around 30 h.p over a stock manifold which was nice. BUT they also said that power drops off at 5100rpms and it shows the rpms and horsepower and you can see it drop off. I would think it would of had an rpm range to atleast 6 grand. Does that sound right? I would have thought it should have been better then that.}

well i think that i am going to go bbk, but i thank everyone for there input. going bbk because a friend said "no way 400 horse could come from that!" he means with that intake one could not make 400 whp with that intake installed, so I need to prove him wrong!
