Wow looks like whats on my car-until i snapped the cable.
Anyway- that cable is adjusted where its conncets to the fork-of thats what you have the craw under there and tighten the b*tch up where uou like your pedal to engage-and that'll be it!
Good luck

you can pull your car up on ramps, get underneath it have a friend push on the clutch put a c clamp on the peice of metal were the clutch cable goes to, let off the clutch so the cable is loose, then there is a screw on the end of the cable, tighten the screw a 1/4 inch or so. push the clutch pedal back in, remove the c clamp, and test it out to see if it makes any difference. thats how i adjust mine, i have a bbk firewall adjuster but it doesn't work so great or its broken or i'm just a dumb *** and don't know how to use it. i just barely did ^ this^ with mine.

ok look at that link that you just gave me and look at the cable end. Its the same thing in my car[&:] look at the end of the cable. That white thingy

Ok the end of the cable(the gold threaded peice with a nut) that goes through the clutch fork(the peice that sticks out of the tranny)- take and look and you'll see. Get under your car and tighten the nut up on it until you get you pedal where you want it
Thats is IF you have that cable- id imagine yours is stock- actually according to your picture that you posted, im 99% positive that its stock.
So if it is, your best bet might be to get a new Ford cable- let us know

maybe ill just buy the kit and then adjust it through the firewall. Its much easier to do it through the firewall then to get under the car and such

It looks the same because it's the same cable. Put the car into first gear before you try putting it in reverse. This will stop the synchronizers from spinning and allow you to put the car in reverse without grinding.
