help changing steering wheel

i just bought the ford motor sport steering wheel but it says u have to use the factory air bag does anyone know how to take the air bag off the wheel and put it on another without it going off ?

Disconnect the battery.

check on the sides of the steering wheel, where the airbag is housed.. there might be two small caps.. pop them off and the screws inside will release the bog... now Im not sure about this, but I jhave seen it that way in other Fords... just look around, take pics and post them if you have to
