I have built many engines but never a stroker. I have done some research on the 331/347 stroker kits. I am using a stock production block, so that's why I decided to go with a 331. Keeping in mind that this car is gonna be street driven. I was thinking of running the 185cc Alum. Pro comp heads with a Xtreme Energy 282 Hyd. roller set up. I should be around 10 to 1 on the compression side. Gonna run a airgap intake topped off with a Demon 650 vaccum secondaries carb on it. Performance Automatic C4 with a 2800-3000 stall. Backed up by a 3.73 posi, upper and lower controll arms 8.8. Can someone out there tell me a close estimate of horse power and possibly E.T times in da 1/4 mile in a 88 Notty running a 26" DOT slick.

 

anywhere from a high 12 to a low 12.. possably 11's.. depends on the suspension set up..

I can live with a mid to low 12 second street car. I know the city streets might not, but what the hell. That's why we pay taxes isn't it.
