Default relieving fuel pressure

whats the easiest way to relieve fuel presure to change fuel filter?

here is the directions my supercharger gave me to relieve the fuel pressure

"Remove the gas cap to relieve fuel tank vapor pressure. Remove the fuel pump fuse from the factory fuse block and remove the coil wire from the ignition coil. Crank the engine over for a few seconds. (the engine will not start) to relieve fuel pressure from the fuel lines. Replace the fuse."

I have also read that letting your car sit overnight relieves pressure.

letting the car sit over night is the easiest way. if it was me, id just loosen the fuel line and have a rag wrapped around it when i do it......but thats just me

Yea that's what I did, the rag idea and loosened the fuel line. You can poke the schrader valve too if you want. Keep a rag handy for that to though.

Mine has a pressure relief valve on it. Has a cap that looks just like a valve on a tire. Look around and follow the fuel lines you'll find it.
