Gear Question....
I just got off the freeway and hear is what I had...
60mph 2200 - 2300 RPM
70mph 2300 - 2400 RPM
I put a range since it's a little hard to tell exactly where the guage is reading but it is closer to the lower end of the range than the higher.
Thanks Again!

Im running a 3.73 and i get gear whine at 80mph +/-. Ive spoken to a few others that also run a 3.73 and all have the same whine at the same speed. Others say that if they whine they werent installed correctly but i hear more whining 3.73s than non whining 3.73s. Seems like a hit or miss setup to me.
I think you may have 3.73s already cuz im around the same rpm at 60. Im also running an AOD.
3 rotations = 3.08
3 1/4 rotations = 3.27
3 1/2 rotations = 3.55
3 3/4 rotations = 3.73
...you get the idea.

jack the rear of the car up and turn the wheel and see how many times the drive shaft spins compared to one full turn of the wheel
3 1/4 rotations = 3.27

Thanks for the replies guys. I am thinking I may just stick with what I have till it breaks
. It seems from all my reading that the only downside of going from 4.10 to 3.73 was about 1mph and minimal difference is wear. I am still going to take it to the shop to get the speedo gears put in so I can actually know how fast I am going without thinking.
Thanks Again!
