you could easily hit 450rwhp with the stock heads with twin turbos under the hood but with a sc, dont expect more then maybe 350ish
Yeah, I hit 320 RWHP with 10 PSI of boost, stock top end, and stock headers. A nice little shot of nitrous brought that up to 430 RWHP. I could have ran a more aggressive timing, put in aftermarket headers and a few other tweaks and i probably could have squeezed 340 - 350ish out of it but I don't see getting much past that.

hey sam, didnt you say you run a 100 shot on your boosted motor? why did it only add 110hp? i would have expected a lot more then that since your making 10psi of boost

Yes, it's a "100 shot" but I use the term in the same sense that NX kits use it. Meaning that the specific jets that I use net a 100 RWHP gain. I went to my friend's dyno knowing that I wanted to add right about 100 HP. So I started very small and slowly swapped out fuel jets and nitrous jets, checking the HP gains from the "base" and checking the A/F ratio each time. Finally after screwing around for awhile, I found the right combo that didn't run too lean and give me between 107 - 112 RWHP depending on the exact run. It was a 41 nitrous jet and a 24 fuel jet.

As fuel pressure and nitrous pressure changed it would obviously change my gains ( I really need a bottle warmer, lol.) But it was often pretty close to or right at the 110 mark when it as fresh. Most of my runs would hit in the 100 - 105 range after the first couple runs because I could never get the bottle quite as warm as I wanted.

But a "110 shot" just doesnt sound right. I like them to come in nice even numbers.. 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, etc, lol. Kind of like our engine. We all call it a 5.0, but in reality it's a 4.9 If I recall correctly, I think my jets are actually sized for a 75 shot, but the boost gives it a litle extra...well...boost
