OK first off. The switches to my windows and locks where conveniently cut off by the old owner. It's now summer basically, and I can't roll my windows down and I have no AC. I Pulled my door panel off, found the 2 leads to the window motor, and I was just gonna touch a power to them so I could just roll down the window for the day, then when I want back up I figured I'd just switch it or whatever. Well I tried and it didn't do anything. Am I missing somethin? Maybe my motor is bad? Should I try the same thing over on the passenger side?

2nd question. My stereo.I had an issue with it not retaining memory after I shut it off. It wouldn't save any of my stations. One member said I wired it wrong because the red is switched power, yellow is constant from the battery ( I think) So I tried fixin that, I hooked the yellow to my constant battery source, then I put the red to ( tried 2 different things) #1. A thick yellow wire with black stripe, and then a thick red wire ( both coming into the stereo area) Neither of these setups would turn the radio on. Then I put it back how I had it.. Red on constant power, yellow on that fat yellow with black stripe. Now it comes on and works again, but still won't save my stations. What's goin on?

yellow is constant red is switched. Directechs doesnt give factory colors for fox bodies so I cant help there. use a DMM it will save your life.
