I paid $3000 for my 87 hatch, only had 32,000 miles on it, perfect shape, no rust,bone stock,but it was my uncles, he was the original owner, so he hooked me up

i paid $2,400 for my 88hatch in az. it was all stock with 150,000 miles. My stupidity made me put another $350 into making it pass emissions(the county i live input a lot more money into itthan me hehe). the car is extremely clean with only minor flaws

If the air works then the controls are probably ok... so...

Regardless of what you may pay for the car, count on a heater core... $600 if you pay someone to do it (from what I've heard), or $30 if you do it yourself.

I paid $3600 for my '91 GT, loaded with sunroof, 78k, nice interior, garage kept, and totally bone stock (including WORKING ash try cover). I could probably have turned around and sold it for $5k or so in these parts.
