no tire on a light stang is gonna do very good

 

245/50/r16 front and back fills in the wheel well nicely and no rubbing, brand doesnt matter too much shop around. khumo is good if you can find them, i found some fulda karat's for about 90 bucks a tire and they look and ride good.

 

Good Tires!!!!!!! the Kuhmo's Supra's 712's. if you have a fox body with flows or really any exaust with tips, they say that 225's are the widest you can go. WRONG, WAY WRONG!!!! you can go 245 all around w/o rubbing or you can go 255's (like myself) all around but you will have to make a couple of adjustments. the front tires will rum alittle on the struts but no major deal- trust me, I know. the backs might rub on the tailpipes depending on their positions but mine are fine! the 255's are an awesome tire- especially the kumho's. awesome tread pattern!! (BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK) ur lookin around $$450-$$550 for a set of 4 mounted/balanced/allignment. NOT BAD AT ALL for high performance tires. Price will differ Depending on ur location. good luck on ur shoppin
my only dissappointment is that I have had to rotate them about every 2 months- but thats not the tires, I have an allignment problem- pain in my a$$!!!! i figure im gonna have them for another year or so before they are worn too much on the sides, their towed out. but I plan on buying the same tires when the time comes!!!

 

oh yeah id go with the 255/50/r16's with the ponies!!!!! youll love them. if you want to be different and dont already have ponies, go with the chromed regular ponies or go with the "Waffle Star" ponies (chromed ofcourse). otherwise known as the SN-95 model rims. they came stock on 94-96 gt's. just look at them and imagine them chrome!!!! those tires and rims are what my stang wears and i wouldnt give em up for cobra r's anyday!!! there are too many cobra r's and these are different and better in my eyes.
