well then your wires for example do u space them out, because mine are basicaly on each other. once the wires leave the distributer thers a zip tie holding them all together. then there some spacer plastics then off to the plugs. can this cause it? wat about bad gas?

yeah.. bangs are kinda hard to diagnose over the internet. Has it done it again since? can you get a video of the bang? maybe have sombody rev the car a little while you are taping under the hood. Just a FYI, check the tranny cross member and the trans mount. my car would bang like that once and awhile when i reved it.. the mount on my trans crossmember was broke and it would move with the torque of the engine and hit on the bolt going through the mount and make a banging sound.

haha that happend in my friends cummins it was the funniest thing ever and he had a 6" exhaust so it was even funnier he got shot out like a rocket and his fur looked like he stuck his hand into an electrical socket

nope no squrirls. and i got cats. the noise is coming from the engine. im going to try and tune up some more things and see what happens,
