i have been trying to put my new transmission in... m-7003-z(93 cobra tranny)in my 90 5.0l...had difficulties with pilot bearing because found out the old tranny was from a 4cyl...next question is the throw out bearing (where it bolts to the tranny) retainer the samein diameter on the the 4cyl t5and the new tremec m-7003-z? cause it seem the hit the bellhousing there...its so close...do i need a new bellhousing (fms-m-6392-e from summit) or does the bellhousing fit both 4cyl and 8cyl t5s...hope this makes sense...cause I think someone did a swap from automatic to manual...on automatics does speedometer cable have wiring harness on it? because i have no harness to connect with the one hanging off of my new tranny...all help is appreciated...thanks matt...
