If it starts with a jump, wth does the saftey switch have to do with that??? Problems are elsewhee.

you could just need to clean your connections on the battery and starter...... or your starter could have a short in it... which is why the extra power is needed to turn it over, you may want to get your starter bench tested, it happened to me on one of my vehicles before.

I see what you're saying. Thankfully this is not my main car, just a project I took on. Anyway, How I usually start it, would be to push start it. All the batteries I've tried were new and worked perfectly in other cars. The Clutch Switch isn't expensive, I'll change it and see what that does.

BTW tmajikman where can I get some rims like that?
