if its the balancer you'd get the vibrations at certain rpm, not speed

exactly, i get vibrations at certain RPMs. i suspect its the balancer, and roundy no i didnt replace the flywheel with a 28oz one, im not that stupid [8D]. im going to probably get some motor mounts and a new balancer and call it a day. thanks for the help.

[sm=thanx.gif] I knew I had learned something by working in vibration analysis of industrial equipment since 1989 that it would come in handy one day! LOL It's a fascinating science and you can make a damn good living at it if you are any good! Auto manufacturers spend millions each year on what they call NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harseness) every year and it's amazing what vibrations can do to rotating equipment slowly destroying it over time if not corrected.

Sorry dbeck, didn't mean to insult your intelligence, just asking what should be an obvious first question to help diagnose the trouble.
Let us know if the problem goes away after you change the stuff.
