Default Narrow band air/fuel gauge worth it or garbage?

Just curious if you guys think it's worth it or not i'd like to get one to warn me if my motor is running real lean but they look like they are pretty generic. how hard are they to install?

Garbage. If your going to do anything get a wideband with a guage and youll only need that if you have some sort of tuner.

the only time a narrow band sensor will give you any insight on what your car is doing is at wide open throttle... and if your running a 14.6:1 afr or richer, it will read rich... so even though the gauge says rich, you could be running 14.5:1 and still technically be lean..

if you want an afr gauge... get a wideband

pro... a narrow band o2 only reads above or below stoich.... by the time you see your gauge go into the red... its already too late... your WAY lean by then

NO! But I have made my point about them several times already. They are NOT of any use for tuning. They do however alert you if something fails and you go rich or lean. Somtimes a condition won't be felt at certain times but you will be able to observe it from the narrow band gauge.
