i bought the Ford Racing GT-40 5.0 crate engine from Jegs with the E cam. im DEAD BROKE right now after i pay for the install as you can assume. my question is this. i could not afford a gt-40 or cobra intake at this time so i told the mechanic to use my stock intake just to get the car running. he says that he needs a special gasket because the normal one does not work. anyone have experience with this? thanks

i have a nice lookin gt40 intake from a 96 explorer for sale if you are interested. 200.00 plus shipping. freshly painted. real clean lookin. i bought it for my car but came across a tubular gt40, so now i am seelin this one for what i bought it for.
