Default cowl hood scoop good?
is the bolt on cowl hood scoop good? like will it turn out right and look like a cowl hood or just look dumb?

yep.

part of the reason for getting a cowl hood is shaving weight. the stock hood is heavy enough without you bolting stuff to it

well i was wondering because im not worried about weight. i just want to make sure the carb on the setup clears the hood without any problems.

just cut a hole in your hood and put a super cool velocity stack on your carb!!

Do what you like as it is your car, but after you spend the time and the money to install a bolt on scoop, and them finish it out to make it look right, you could have bought a fiberglass hood.
