IDLE PROBLEMS

IDLE PROBLEMS
now...as i'm new with my mustang i have a few issues that come up at idle, and when accelerating
sometimes, not when i engage the clutch, but when i put it into gear, the car stalls.
why is this? it happens when car is cold, and even after driving for an hour
also, when accelerating i hear a high pitched whining sound....
i do have an opened throttle body. is that it?

Maybe you got a supercharger you don't know about....lol....but what do you mean you have a opened throttle body do you mean no filter if so I suggest you put that back on you prolly just killed 5 years off your cars life

If there is not tube from the throttle body to the filter...then it is safe to assume that youMass Air Sensor is floating in the air not reading anything...
That is if your can uses a MAF...I believe '89 and up have MAF
That would cause idle problems for sure
