How many gears do you have? If you have 4 (1,2,3,OD) you've got an AOD, if you have three you've got the C4. Anyways, I'm running a custom built Edge Racing Street Edge torque convertor that is rated at 3000 rpm.It works great! I haven't experienced a loss in gas mileage at all, just pure performance. It feels like you've added 100 ft. lbs of torque.Regular street radials (even when my motor wasclose to stock) will instantly be fried when the go fast pedal isput to the floor. You'll love it. Don't go with anything less than a3000 rpm stall or you'll be begging for more. The best part about it though, is that it was only $520 shipped to my door. But it is a VERY worthwhile mod, I would definentally go with edge racing again.

my converter foot brakes 3000rpms. flashes to over 4000rpms. gearing, hp, quarter or eigth mile, etc. these are all factors to think about when choosing the stall speed
