i had a problem kind of similar to this, found out i forgot to swap the dowel pins into my new flywheel and it somehow ruined my centerforce clutch after just about 1000 miles

you know i couldnt get the pins to line up on mine centerforce pressure plate so the machine shop told me to just take htme out and ill be fine its been almost 2000 miles and i havent had a problem

I've been looking for a used trans and I have decided that once I take it out I might as well put in a new clutch in case it is causing problems. I assume if it is my trans is already screwed. So what's a decent clutch? remember that my motor only has exhaust, otherwise it is stock.

i have a centerforce II very nice clutch its pretty pricy if you get the whole kit 440 for mine with disk pressure plate and throw out bearing but its nice a smooth clutch isnt very heavy at all just right

interesting, maybe something else screwed mine up? ive always had problems w/ centerforce dual frictions and i still cant find out why other than they suck
