Default Rebuilding a 95 GT

Hey guys,

I am looking to rebuild a 95 gt engine so that i can supercharge it. I was just wondering when the engine is rebuilt i know that doesnt make it a brand new engine but would it be considered in good enough shape to s/c it without worry?

Thanks,

Well define rebuilt.

If you mean a 5.0 engine that is stripped to the bare block, then having the block preffessional refurbished and cleaned, then installing new internals (preferrably forged or forged stroked) then installing new heads (preferrably aftermarket or at least GT-40), new push rods, new valve train, and then having your upper/lower intake professionaly redone as well, yea, that would be more than rebuilt enough to add in an S/C.

depending on the boost levels you can install it on the stock engine.but if you are rebuilding bullet proof it. and definately +1 on the forged internals.and use the right combination of parts.
