cold, hot, doesn't matter. they don't work. they're a totally different design that is severely flawed.

Hey i read that post below about t-stat running too cold and some one asked if you burped the system what is this how is it done.

Ive got a 180t-stat in my 5.0 and with a thermometer in the top of the radiatorthe fluid never gets above 160 degrees. My stock gauge is usually right around the L also. I figured it should run about 25ish degrees warmer but it runs good so Ive never really tried to make it run hotter.

Well it might be a good rad but whats this burping stuff and it did not run this cold till i put in the 195 nr gasket thermostate im changing it to a hotter one cause at the L on mygagae i thought it might still be in closed loop open loop ??well ya know what i mean just too cold

Yea I dunno whats up with it,its a stock radiator with the stock clutch fan.Its got a police ssp oil cooler..but I can't think of anything else that would make it run cooler than any other 5.0.Ive got a taurus e-fan and DCC controller waiting to be installed. The dam thing probably wont even have to come on.
