Computer Chip Question
I would like to get a tune for my car but everyplace is booked around here and I don't have alot of money. One of my dads friends is selling a computer chip off his mustang for $200.00
His car had a 302 with 11 to 1 pistons, AFR 185 heads, X303 cam, TFS track-Heat intake, 30lb injectors, ext........It made 340rwhp/ 350rwtq on a dynojet II
My car has the same combination as him but mine has 12 to1 pistons, a 620 lift cam & a TFS R intake.
If I would buy this chip and plug it in my car would it have more power than 340rwhp? Would it run good?

RE: Computer Chip Question
It's not the same car and it doesn't have the same specs. Buying someone else's chip is a a waste of moeny. Not to mention it could cause MAJOR problems. You have no idea what his spark, fuel, or MAF tables look like. You may gt lucky and it may work, or you may run extremely lean and blow your engine all the hell.

RE: Computer Chip Question
If that's the case, then you really should wait and just get the tune. Believe me, it's not worth the $100 you'll save by using someone else's chip that will scre something up anyway.
