Or Stuck in the celing of your garage. Been there, Done that, Missed my head by about an inch. My kid standing on the other side of the garage says. Uh!!! - Oh!!!.

Dont worry about the gasket. New pumps usually come with a new one anyway. Atleast mine do (Advance Auto). I use a little sealer on the pump and the block with the gasket to make sure it wont leak, but dont glob it on and keep it out of the threads.

The hardest part for me was getting the dang belt tensioner to move. Youll need a pipe slipped over the rachet for leverage. Dont let go of it either or the pipe will end up in the nieghbors yard. Dont ask.

If you replace your belt at the same time buy a Gates K060750 or K060755 and bypass your smog pump.
