Thanks for the warm welcome. I've been reading a lot of posts and this forum seems to have a lot of cool people.
Upgrades? Of course. That's why I bought it. I'm not going to try to break any records with this one. I just want a convertible to enjoy when the weather's nice. Not sure what upgrades I want yet. I believe I'm going work on a few cosmetic items first. The motor seems good enough for the amount of driving I plan to do (probably every other weekend around town) until I make changes to the motor/tranny. I plan on bringing her to AMP when I'm ready to swap out the motor and tranny. Power goals will be in the range of 400-450 rwhp. I'll be happy with that. Oh, and it's a 5-speed. I don't have pics yet but I will be taking some soon so that I can have before and afterpics as I progress through the restoration.
I hope there'll be other Phoenix folks in here so that I can get some advice on local shops. If not that's ok. I can always make friends at AMP. I'm sure they know a few good shops they can recommend.
