mass air ???

Default mass air ???

whats the diff. between a mass air sensor off a 4cylinder and a 5.0 and if there is a a diff. can a 4cylinder mass air sensor be modifyed to for a 5.0. i ask because my mass air went bad and i had 1 from a 4 cylinder laying around and i put it on. and my car runs but it runs lean and i dont have the extra cash to buy the right 1. thanx in advance for any answers

The MAF is not the same, and you can't use it on your 5.0.

Get the right MAF...

Or upgrade to a 94-95 Mustang MAF...

the mass airtells the ecu how much air is coming in to increase or decrease the pulse width for your injectors to open and close, now a bigger bore and stroke need more air and fuel to run right..
