Default drag suspension!!!

hey guys i am looking at putting a new suspension under the stang. i have 720lb. rate springs up front and thats about all i have right now.. i am looking at getting 50/50 rear and 90/10 front shocks and i am still unsure about the leaf spring set up... what should i do. i just want a car that is going to launch real well at the strip.. anysuggestions would be appritiated...thanks in advance..

subframes will help with both the street and strip. you probably need to go with a set of slapper bars, traction bars, that bolt on the rear end at the spring U-bolts and help keep the leaf springs from winding up when you launch at the strip. they hang down under the springs so if you're lowered, this may be a problem with ground clearance. Lakewood makes some and I'm sure there are others out there too. I would not go 90/10 shocks on it and drive it on the street, you'll get really bad street handling with those, go with 70/30 shocks up front and keep the 50/50 rears. you could move the battery to the trunk over the right rear tire too but you will need a battery shutoff switch mounted on the back of the car for when you take it to the strip.

also using as air bag in the rear will help....also unloading as much wt off the front will help your 60ft times......a coil over set is the ticket so you can do both drag and street
