Whats thier definition of a complete rewire? If anything you might need new ends to hook them up to the speaker. Mustangs had 6x8s last i looked so for a 6x9 youll have to rework the mounting.

Im still usingthe 6x8s and theyre plenty. If its extra boom youre after go with a box with 2 10s and an amp.

Complete rewiring? There are only two wires; a positive and a negative. On top of that, it's extremely simple to do as well. Not sure what the problem is, unless they're trying to come up with some BS excuse to charge you more.

In my hatch I got 1 10" (1000w xplode) and amp and it's more than enough bump.

Hes right, theres only 2 wires. Cut the ends off and strip the wire 1/4" and crimp a new end on and thats it.

they must be one of those, "oh, yea, we found a few chaffed wires so we had to replace them up to the head uinit. Probably from the valve hitting a piston, well have to fix that".
