Stuck Starter Relay???

Stuck Starter Relay???
I have an 89 mustang GT with an MSD Ignition box, Multi-Step retard box and Blaster 2 coil. I recently had to change the starter solenoid "relay" and ever since then the starter stays running when I try to start the car. I have replaced the relay 2 more times, the first relay was from NAPA, the second was from Autozone and the third is from Ford. I also replaced the ignition switch and had the battery tested to make sure that everything else was in order. I have looked at all of the wiring and everything seems to be well connected with no loose grounds. The starter is still sticking, even when I turn the car off and remove the key, but when I tap the starter relay, then it shuts off. Does anyone have any ideas???
Thanks,
Brian

RE: Stuck Starter Relay???
hmm havent seen that happen with 3 different relays. you sure you have all the wires in the right place? all i can think of is you got 3 bad relays in a row but i know the chances of that are very very slim. did you replace the starter solenoid before all the msd stuff?

RE: Stuck Starter Relay???
The aftermarket 'relay's' are flipped from the stock ones. I made this mistake and fried some serious **** lol Just double check with the instructions and see that the cables are all hooked up in the proper places. If he starter is still running once the car is off... just pull the top plug out of the starter solonoid and that will instantly turn the starter off. Good luck.
