Default How do you find out rear end Ratio?

When I bought my mustang the guy said it had 3.73's. So I wanted to find out if that was true. Me andmy buddyturned the wheel one rotation and watched how many times the driveshaft spun. Well I figured we were doing it wrong cause we couldnt get the driveshaft to spin more than 2 times. So my buddy insists it has the stock 2.73's, taking into account that the rims size is different. Well I just went on the web and found a gear calculator and her are the results...

Corral RPM / SPEED / GEAR Calculator
Engine RPM: 2000
Vehicle Speed: 43
Read End Gear: 3.63252570474366

Tire size inputed was
235
50
17

So that means I do in fact have 3.73's right?
If so what did we do wrong?

Yep, you have 3.55's or 3.73's...

What did you do wrong? You didn't take into account enough of the bigger wheel/tire combo.
