Default best clutch?

What clutch do you guys think is the best? I've been looking at a King Cobra or an A.C.T. just looking for some input.

King Cobra clutch is fine unless you plan on some serious horsepower, then Spec is the way to go. I'd only ever use Ford Racing or Spec, Ford just can't hold alot of power though is all

the king cobra is a good street/strip clutch for the price, www.astroperformance.com has the indentical part for alot less the box just does not say ford racing on it.

I have a king Cobra that seems to do well. It has an easy pedal. My buddy has a good bit more power than me and he has a Spec Stage 3 that is very tough. Scower Ebay for clutches. I got my King Cobra from Clutch City for $155 + shipping, they are out of Florida. Good Luck.

I had a centerforce that flew to pieces before i bought the King Cobra. The Cobra feels stronger to me. The centerforce wasn't a Dual Friction, they may be better but they are expensive. I think the King Cobra is a great clutch for the price.

spec or center force dual friction, you get what you pay for, you can get the spec clutch from www.steed.com they have different levels for street strip or pro stock, you can pick up the centerforce or others like ram or ford racing from www.summitracing.com. first decide what type of driver you are and get the coresponing set up.
